The Water division at AECOM is currently seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Engineer for our operations in Florida.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with state and federal grant programs, particularly those focused on hazard mitigation activities such as flood reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering reviews and benefit-cost analyses for state and federal grant initiatives.
- Collaborate with a team on engineering tasks, including the preparation of assessments, reports, and schedules.
- Execute and coordinate assigned tasks during the preliminary and detailed design phases of engineering projects.
- Collect and correlate engineering data following established and well-defined procedures.
- Perform quality checks and reviews to identify discrepancies in data and results.
Contribute to the planning, design, permitting, and construction phases of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects as part of a collaborative team.
Effectively communicate task progress to team leads in a clear and concise manner.
Support client liaison and communication efforts as part of a project team.
Responsibilities may also include assisting in the preparation of reports, hydraulic models, calculations, drawings, construction plans, specifications, and permitting documents.
Coordination with colleagues, clients, and sub-consultants will be essential to achieve assigned objectives.
