RS&H is seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer II to join our Transportation Practice in Orlando, FL.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
- Develop and evaluate engineering reports, plans, and specification criteria for various projects.
- Coordinate with project teams, including client communication, proposal coordination, and marketing.
- Prepare specifications, scaled drawings, and proposals.
- Ensure finished plans, specifications, and approval of materials and construction.
- Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
- Meet with clients to determine objectives and requirements.
- Review junior staff's work for technical accuracy and provide technical guidance.
- Lead discipline teams or small multidisciplinary teams to complete projects.
- Perform quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key milestones.
- Perform field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.
- Maintain professional registration and licensure.
- Remain knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
- Supervise direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Minimum seven years of relevant experience.
- PE required.
- Advanced level of oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Experience working on parts of a major project or multiple moderate-sized projects.
- Proven experience providing technical guidance to entry/junior level staff.
