Position Overview
The Offsite Construction Supervisor will oversee various projects and job sites throughout the Greater Southern California area. This role will report to the Director of Construction and will be based out of our office location. Responsibilities include general job site supervision, schedule management, cost control, collaboration with regulatory entities, and supervising personnel and subcontractors to complete assigned tasks. Effective verbal and written communication with clients is essential. The ideal candidate must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely and safe manner. Relevant industry experience includes civil construction, underground infrastructure, sewer, water/storm drain, and both private and public works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct various job sites, keeping team members and clients informed throughout the process.
  • Provide suggestions for improving processes, safety standards, and team performance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project scope of work (SOW).
  • Develop detailed methods of procedures (MOP) and practices for assigned projects.
  • Assist the Director in scheduling team members' work and hours.
  • Plan and direct the work of assigned teams, determining appropriate project techniques.
  • Maintain job records for effective management and control.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to determine materials, equipment, and tools for projects.
  • Interpret and execute design site plans and layouts.
  • Manage the flow and distribution of materials and supplies.
  • Ensure safety and security of team and company assets.
  • Conduct inspections of installations and assist Project Managers with closeout packages.
  • Perform related tasks including timesheet management and Job Safety Analysis.
  • Utilize caution and experience, understanding hazards associated with construction environments.
Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Two or more years of experience in large high-end residential and infrastructure construction.
  • Thorough understanding of sites, infrastructure, structures, and systems.
  • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, design-heavy, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to travel to job sites.
  • Ability to navigate various job site terrains.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil, utility, landscape, and architectural drawings.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, and bending.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for this position: $40/hr - $50/hr
