Real Estate Development Executive

Newgard Development Group of Miami, FL is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Development Executive to oversee and manage the successful execution of large-scale development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, architecture, construction, or related activities, with a proven track record of managing development projects from beginning to end.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the successful execution of large-scale development projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the President and CFO to ensure project success and alignment with company goals.
  • Direct project teams, defining project scope and detailing project plans and budgets.
  • Negotiate with and direct the work of architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, and construction contractors.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies and attend marketing meetings.
  • Coordinate preparation of condominium documents and assist in the preparation of Offering Memorandum for financing.
  • Direct condominium sales process to maximize return on investment.
  • Track all project costs, approve consultant and contractor requests for payment, and mitigate liabilities.
  • Maintain communication and interface with all relevant parties, including public agencies, community groups, union representatives, and senior management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in real estate development, architecture, construction, or related activities.
  • Experience managing development projects of similar size and scope from beginning to end, as well as significant transaction experience.
  • Strong sense of design aesthetic and ability to act as a principal force in ensuring creative and tasteful decision-making throughout the development process.
  • Ability to review and understand architectural drawings and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to infuse the internal management process with new ideas and support external marketing efforts.
