The ideal candidate will have significant experience in handling complex real estate transactions, construction law matters, and related areas. While a portable book of business is not required, it will be considered a strong asset. This is a unique opportunity to join a top Am Law 100 firm with a robust real estate practice and a highly collaborative environment.
  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • - Lead and manage high-profile real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures.
  • - Provide strategic legal counsel on commercial and residential real estate matters, including construction, development, and leasing.
  • - Draft and negotiate contracts, including purchase agreements, construction contracts, leases, and financing documents.
  • - Advise clients on complex title, zoning, land use, and environmental issues.
  • - Oversee due diligence processes for commercial real estate transactions, ensuring thorough investigation and risk assessment.
  • - Collaborate with other practice groups, including tax, corporate, and litigation, to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
  • - Mentor and develop junior attorneys within the real estate group.
  • - Participate in business development efforts and firm initiatives to grow the real estate practice.
**Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Florida, or ability to become licensed.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in transactional real estate, construction, and development law.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience managing large, sophisticated transactions.
- Exceptional client management and relationship-building abilities.
- A portable book of business is preferred, but not required.
