Job Summary

Marion County is seeking a highly skilled Exceptional Needs Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Adult Behavioral Health team, you will provide assessment and treatment services, crisis intervention, and treatment services to individuals with complex needs and diagnoses.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment and treatment services to individuals with complex needs and diagnoses
Develop and implement specific services in the community
Collaborate with individuals in the mental health system, partners, and stakeholders to assess individuals' needs, determine eligibility for services, and authorize enrollment for Choice Model services
Facilitate community transition for individuals who fall under Choice criteria
Provide case-specific consultation to providers and community partners, including clinical recommendations for treatment, services, and risk reduction

Requirements

Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field
One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field
Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired
Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) within the first 30 days of employment
