About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Roving Personal Banker to join our National Branch Network team in the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. As a Roving Personal Banker, you will provide exceptional customer service and support across various branch locations within a specific geography.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to branches with temporary vacancies or absences of bankers or tellers
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new surroundings while meeting customer needs
  • Participate in delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing suitable products, services, and digital solutions
  • Assist customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to connect with customers' needs
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships
  • Provide suitable options for bank products and services to customers
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed
Requirements:
  • 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the district
  • Commute to the assigned location(s) for the duration of the branch assignment (reimbursement for mileage is provided)
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Maintains cash drawer, cash handling and balancing, and spends time completing service-related tasks as needed
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
