About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Roving Personal Banker to join our National Branch Network team. As a Roving Personal Banker, you will provide exceptional customer service and support across various branch locations within a specific geography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to branches within a specific geography, ensuring seamless customer service and minimizing disruptions.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and new surroundings, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Participate in delivering exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing suitable products and services.
  • Assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
  • Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures.
  • Develop a deep understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customers' needs.
  • Interact with customers to demonstrate care and build strong relationships.
  • Provide customers with suitable options for bank products and services.
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as necessary.
Requirements
  • 6+ months of customer-facing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
  • Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate.
  • Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs.
  • Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.
  • Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting.
  • Relevant military experience, including working in personnel benefits management, processing military personnel orders or transitions, wartime readiness operations, human resources, or military recruiting.
  • Proficient in proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.
Job Expectations
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time within the district.
  • Commute to assigned locations for the duration of the branch assignment (reimbursement for mileage provided).
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduled.
  • Maintain cash drawer, cash handling, and balancing, and spend time completing service-related tasks as needed.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
