About the Position

Under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager, this role is dedicated to supporting the logistics of customer service initiatives. Responsibilities include processing orders, managing phone inquiries, participating in the call queue, invoicing, providing pricing details, and updating customers on order progress. The Customer Service Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that our Customer Service team delivers exemplary service, aligning with the standards of the Network Solutions Business Unit at Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage professionally and effectively with both internal and external clients, particularly in the call queue and via email, addressing inquiries related to lead times, pricing, and order updates.
  • Accurately and promptly accept, enter, and resolve customer orders and issues.
  • Comprehend all Network Solutions products, both Standard and Made to Order, and effectively communicate product information and policies to customers (e.g., minimum billing, shipping timelines, returns).
  • Proactively initiate solutions and corrective measures for customer concerns, including data entry errors, shipment discrepancies, and pricing issues.
  • Assist in establishing shipping timelines that align with customer requirements, gathering and communicating delivery expectations, and expediting orders as necessary.
  • Request engineering assistance for new product introductions, relay special requirements to manufacturing, and facilitate material substitutions.
  • Manage the logistics surrounding Material Returns and Credit transactions.
  • Compile and analyze data for various reports using Excel and Word.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings, offering customer service insights on product development, sales, marketing, and safety initiatives.
  • Process invoices and billing adjustments in Intuitive, while managing handbilling and order cancellations in Oracle.
  • Support team efforts as needed and assist the Strategic Account Team in logistics to maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Essential Skills:
    • Exceptional customer service abilities
    • Effective communication skills via phone, fax, and email with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in handling mathematical calculations related to pricing and billing (e.g., discounts, interest, commissions)
    • Capability to multitask and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced setting
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team environment
  • Proficiency Required:
    • Excel and Word
    • Ability to present information and respond to inquiries from various audiences, including managers, clients, and the general public
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing context
  • Experience in Telecommunications, Datacom, and Made-to-Order environments is advantageous
