Job Summary

As a Production Logistics Specialist at Huber Technology Inc, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our production and distribution processes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the right materials are delivered to the right workstations at the right time, while also maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels by identifying, labeling, and storing materials and supplies in the correct locations.
  • Locate and retrieve materials and supplies as needed, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure that materials are delivered to the correct workstations and that production schedules are met.
  • Conduct regular inspections of inventory and equipment to ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current forklift certification and overhead crane training required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong understanding of inventory control and data entry principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time, with regular breaks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics, with a strong understanding of inventory control and data entry principles.
  • Minor proficiency in IFS manufacturing module.
Work Environment

This position works in a warehouse setting, with the possibility of some outdoor exposure during the workday. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, fork trucks, overhead cranes, pallet jacks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds with mechanical assistance.
