Position Overview
As our organization expands, we are seeking a motivated individual to support the General Manager in driving new membership sales, overseeing studio operations, and enhancing member retention. The CycleBar Experience (CBX) team member is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, guiding both prospective and existing members in their class choices, addressing membership inquiries, and facilitating merchandise transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service abilities, basic computer proficiency, effective communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for sales and service. We value team members who are enthusiastic about engaging with our customers and contributing to a vibrant community.

This role is available as part-time or full-time, with an hourly wage ranging from $16 to $20, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Sales
  • Implement the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing sales.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets set by the General Manager.
  • Build rapport with prospects by understanding their fitness aspirations and presenting suitable services.
  • Conduct studio tours for potential members to foster connections and facilitate sales; schedule follow-up appointments after initial class visits.
  • Engage in promotional events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community outreach) to elevate studio visibility.
  • Enhance sales skills through training sessions and company meetings.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, programs, and pricing.
  • Assist with retail sales and provide information about various brands.
Membership Retention
  • Address member inquiries in person and over the phone regarding membership policies.
  • Welcome members and guests warmly, ensuring a friendly atmosphere in the studio.
Studio Operations
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment during shifts by performing cleaning tasks as directed by the General Manager or company policies.
  • Adhere to all procedures established by the company to maintain compliance with health regulations.
Additional Duties
  • Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic demeanor; embody company values and represent company interests to both internal and external customers.
  • Respond to complaints, questions, and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Follow established safety protocols and participate in safety training provided by the company.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or company management.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or fitness sales.
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and via telephone; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficient writing and grammar skills.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and well-groomed.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public.
  • Capacity to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
  • Proficient in computer use and familiar with studio software.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands of this position include:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, and perform bending, lifting, and kneeling tasks.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
  • Capability to perform cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Effective hearing in person and via telephone.
Compensation and Benefits
