Job Description

**Role Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing the activities within the production area to meet safety, quality, production, and cost goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage front-line manufacturing employees to ensure maximum output and quality.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct production operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of production schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive compliance to area standards, including policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and diagnose machine and tooling problems to minimize downtime and interruption of schedules.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that regulatory quality system requirements are met in the area.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new solutions and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability, with experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN six sigma and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Characteristics:

  • BS degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
