Automation Specialist

bJob Summary:/bbrbrSolventum is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying facilities and production equipment. You will apply fundamental technical skills to develop, improve, and implement manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will develop and implement maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant. You will analyze data/performance of existing equipment to determine proper maintenance plans, design changes, and improvements. You will maintain equipment parts inventory and work with a supervisor to identify improvement opportunities. To be successful in this role, you will need an Associate degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical field, or a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. You will also need the ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or short notice shift coverage as needed.
