Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Staff Accountant to become a vital part of the RVR Consulting Group. This position will focus on overseeing internal financial documentation while also delivering accounting services to our external clientele on a fee-based arrangement. The successful candidate will have a robust grasp of accounting fundamentals, outstanding organizational capabilities, and the proficiency to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Internal Financial Management:
    • Handle bookkeeping tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
    • Manage invoicing processes.
    • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card transactions.
    • Prepare and submit expense reports, billing clients accordingly.
    • Collaborate with the Controller and Director of Operations to enhance operational processes.
  • Client-Focused Accounting Services:
    • Deliver accounting services to external clients on a billable basis, encompassing accounts payable and receivable.
    • Engage with clients to collect essential financial data and ensure the precision of records.
    • Uphold the confidentiality of client financial information while adhering to ethical standards.
    • Establish and nurture strong client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks Desktop and Online, or comparable platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
