  • Coordinate schedules and meetings, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor quality control standards, ensuring that all aspects of patient care meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Resolve less complex patient, staff, and physician issues, escalating more complex concerns to the manager as needed.
  • Assist with evaluating associate performance, providing feedback and recommendations for merit increases or disciplinary action.
  • Report any associate non-compliance with approved policies to the manager.
  • Monitor associate work schedules and PTO requests, ensuring that adequate staff coverage is maintained.
  • Ensure that NCHD referrals are appropriate and in line with established protocols.
  • Assess departmental staffing needs, actively participating in resourcing efforts to ensure that the clinic is adequately staffed.
  • Follow CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to HIPAA, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians, using oral and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and positively.
  • Maintain established CHRISTUS Health policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Implement job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics, supporting the company's cultural diversity objectives.
  • Support and adhere to the CHRISTUS Health Service Guarantee.
  • Perform other related work as required.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
  • Previous healthcare management experience preferred
  • RN License in state of employment or compact
  • BLS
