Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinic Lead. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Collaborate with the manager to address any issues or concerns that may arise, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Manage departmental supplies, equipment, and maintenance, ensuring that all necessary resources are available to support patient care.
- Coordinate schedules and meetings, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Monitor quality control standards, ensuring that all aspects of patient care meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Resolve less complex patient, staff, and physician issues, escalating more complex concerns to the manager as needed.
- Assist with evaluating associate performance, providing feedback and recommendations for merit increases or disciplinary action.
- Report any associate non-compliance with approved policies to the manager.
- Monitor associate work schedules and PTO requests, ensuring that adequate staff coverage is maintained.
- Ensure that NCHD referrals are appropriate and in line with established protocols.
- Assess departmental staffing needs, actively participating in resourcing efforts to ensure that the clinic is adequately staffed.
- Follow CHRISTUS Health guidelines related to HIPAA, maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians, using oral and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and positively.
- Maintain established CHRISTUS Health policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- Implement job responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics, supporting the company's cultural diversity objectives.
- Support and adhere to the CHRISTUS Health Service Guarantee.
- Perform other related work as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- Previous healthcare management experience preferred
- RN License in state of employment or compact
- BLS
