Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Clinical Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our care centers, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and clinical performance of our nurses and aides.
Responsibilities- Recommend employment decisions for staff to the Director of Operations, including hiring, firing, advancing, promoting, or changing status.
- Oversee overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
- Organize clinical operations for the care center.
- Review requests for services and determine patient eligibility/suitability for home care services.
- Work with Intake to coordinate patient referrals and admissions.
- Oversee scheduling.
- Oversee payor verification and precertification requirements.
- Review documentation of other staff members and ensure missing, incomplete, or untimely documentation issues are resolved.
- Assist clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities, and developing Plan of Care (POC).
- Regularly evaluate the needs of the patient and make necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with clinicians.
- May provide direct patient care on an infrequent basis in times of emergency.
- Participate in the on-call process.
- Assist with training of staff to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of patient/family/physician concerns.
As a Registered Nurse Clinical Manager, you will possess a strong background in nursing, leadership, and management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care and clinical performance of our nurses and aides.
