Job Summary

Valor Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care services to veterans, utilizing your expertise in mental health and behavioral sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Exams: Evaluate patients for symptoms of organic, congenital, or acquired disorders and determine the nature and extent of the issue.
  • Develop Patient Management Plans: Collaborate with the core PACT Team to develop and implement patient management plans, ensuring continuity of care through the Primary Care Management Module.
  • Order and Perform Diagnostic Tests: Order and perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, interpreting test results for deviations from normal and providing follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with the PACT Team, including the Primary Care Provider, RN, and Medical Assistant, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to each veteran and their family, both in person and over the phone, as well as to fellow colleagues and clinic visitors.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Psychology Degree: Hold a Doctor of Psychology Degree from an APA-approved program, with an APA-approved internship.
  • Minimum 1 Year of Practice: Possess a minimum of 1 year of practice experience, treating adult patients.
  • Valid License: Hold a valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification: Maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
