Clinical Supervisor

YAI is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our residential services, ensuring the highest level of care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to direct care staff, including Lead Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Assume the responsibilities of the Lead RBT in their absence
- Clinical Operations
- Assist the Qualified Behavior Modification Professional (QBMP) in oversight of clinical functions of a Community Crisis Home (CCH) and/or Enhanced Behavior Support Home (EBSH)
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Individualized Behavior Support Plan (IBSP), including data collection, review, and analysis
- Training and Development
- Facilitate training and implementation of Person-Centered Thinking/Planning to all people YAI supports in the residential home
- Model an approach that emphasizes positive behavior supports, person-centered practices, and trauma-informed care
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with the BCBA Director and the QBMP to ensure the clinical needs of the people YAI supports are being addressed
- Interface with external consultants (e.g., RN, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Teachers, Day Program Coordinators) to collaborate regarding the needs of the people YAI supports
- Documentation and Compliance
- Conduct daily documentation checks, reviewing Individualized Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs), Individualized Emergency Intervention Plans (IEIPs), and medication administration records (MARs)
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of staff notes for individuals with significant behaviors of concern
- Professional Development
- Complete and maintain all necessary trainings based on program and position to ensure compliance with YAI policies and licensing regulations
- Complete and maintain Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements for BCaBA or BCBA certification and for all other required recertifications
- Education and Experience
- Must hold active Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and be in good standing with BACB
- Extensive knowledge of developmental disabilities, working with adult/children with significant behaviors of concern
- Knowledge of clinical syndromes
- Skills and Abilities
- Ability to meet essential physical demands of the position, including frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching with hands and arms
- Valid Driver's License required
- Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in designing, supervision, and implementing behavior modification services in residential services
- Experience in residential services and/or a direct support role
- Experience training, coaching, mentoring, and/or supervising staff, ideally RBTs
