Job Summary

Volt is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Richardson, TX. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment, working closely with the factory management team to prioritize job tasks.
  • Collaborate with peers, supervisor, and engineering team to understand root cause failure and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals.
  • Work with vendors, field service, and technical representatives to resolve equipment issues and attend training sessions as required.
  • Document all work performed on equipment and attend shift pass-down meetings to communicate daily activities.
  • This is a factory position requiring cleanroom attire and working in a cleanroom environment. May be required to wear PPE and be exposed to hazardous processing materials.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military training.
  • 3 or more years of experience in high-volume semiconductor environments performing maintenance on equipment such as CVD, implanters, and sputter deposition tools.
  • Strong RF troubleshooting experience and ability to edit and author specifications, training materials, and other technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment, with a willingness to work night shift.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift, lift up to 35+ pounds, and support equipment maintenance requiring occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, and squatting.
