Healthcare Support Worker for Elderly Care in Michigan

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at the Day Health Center for Seniors in Dearborn, Michigan. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our elderly participants, assisting with daily activities and promoting their overall well-being.
**Job Responsibilities:** In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct care and support to participants, including assistance with meals, hygiene, and daily activities.
- Supporting participants and their families towards achieving maximum self-reliance and independence.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized Care Plans.
**Requirements:** To be successful as a Healthcare Support Worker, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- A current CPR card required.
- A valid Michigan Driver's license.
- At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations in a long-term care, hospital, or home care setting.
**Salary:** The estimated salary for this position is $16.75 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include guaranteed shifts, paid time off, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, and 401(k) matching.
