Job Details

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at PACE Southeast Michigan. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $16.75 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized support and care to our participants in their homes. This may include assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, toileting, and transportation.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to participants in their homes;
  • Develop strong relationships with participants and their families;
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination;
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments;
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Two years of direct care experience preferred;
  • Formal training in direct care, nursing assistant, or medical assisting a plus;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic life support certification and ability to meet CMS-approved competency standards.
