Job Title: Patient Service Center Representative

Central Dermatology Center is seeking a highly skilled and professional individual to join our Patient Service Center team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone in a fast-paced environment.
  • Take incoming appointment calls and respond to patient inquiries with accurate and timely information.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and effectively for our busy 20+ provider specialty practice.
  • Guide and transfer callers to various locations and departments as needed.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service setting.
  • Prior experience in a medical, dental, or other healthcare practice is highly preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Word processing and computer experience is required.
  • Medical terminology is helpful.
Education and Location:

High School graduate required. Position is located in Durham, NC at our Administration Building. Candidates may be asked to train at our main office in Chapel Hill for a minimum of 2-3 weeks before being assigned to their station.

All candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work full time, M-F between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Salary: $15-$17/hour, negotiable depending on education and experience.
