Dermatology Center Representative

Central Dermatology Center is seeking a highly skilled and professional individual to join our Patient Service Center team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone in a fast-paced environment.
- Take incoming appointment calls and respond to patient inquiries with accurate and timely information.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and effectively for our busy 20+ provider specialty practice.
- Guide and transfer callers to various locations and departments as needed.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service setting.
- Prior experience in a medical, dental, or other healthcare practice is highly preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously.
- Word processing and computer experience is required.
- Medical terminology is helpful.
High School graduate required. Position is located in Durham, NC at our Administration Building. Candidates may be asked to train at our main office in Chapel Hill for a minimum of 2-3 weeks before being assigned to their station.
All candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work full time, M-F between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Salary: $15-$17/hour, negotiable depending on education and experience.
