Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Skills Instructor to join our team at Graham Correctional Center. As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for teaching courses and labs in the Manufacturing Skills Certificate program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver instructional materials, including lesson plans, syllabi, and assessments.
  • Teach classes and labs in the Manufacturing Skills Certificate program, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies to engage students.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student retention and academic success.
  • Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support student growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as manufacturing, engineering, or education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field, with a focus on teaching or training.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC programming, computer-aided drafting, and robotics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
