Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at IKO Industries Ltd. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a positive change effort to improve performance by motivating, recognizing, and inspiring others to be effective and efficient in their activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading daily safety share, encourage, and recognize all safety behavior and lead by example
  • Actively facilitating and participating in Root Cause Analysis of issues negatively impacting safety/quality/performance, and ensure effective execution and sustainability of corrective actions
  • Championing in hazard identification, evaluation, and control through the behavior-based safety and risk assessment programs
  • Ensuring employees receive training on processes relating to safety, quality, and production
  • Resolving any conflict immediately and assuring that behavior is in line with IKO values
  • Ensuring proper documentation and complete reports
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma, preferably in industrial technology or engineering, business administration, or management
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within a fast-paced Manufacturing environment, 3 of which must be in a supervisory role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability in order to successfully manage a diverse group of employees
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation), analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of operational enhancement and improvements through employee engagement, demonstrated team building talent
  • Flexible to work varying shift and days
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Knowledge of KRONOS time and attendance system is an asset
