Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR File Clerk to join our team at Sea Mar Community Health Centers. This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

About the Role

The HR File Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date personnel files, performing general office tasks, and assisting with data entry and compliance-related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Management: Create, maintain, and organize all personnel files, including both active and inactive records.
  • Data Entry: Perform basic data entry into HRIS systems, including new hire documentation, training and compliance records, and other relevant information.
  • Compliance: Assist with regular file audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Office Operations: Provide general office support, including answering phones, preparing materials for new employee orientation, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
  • Clerical Duties: Create and print employee badges, monitor and respond to HR email inbox, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience: General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and HRIS systems preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid WA State driver's license required.
