Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, the incumbent will perform technical duties within Radiology, producing high-quality images and working independently.

They must demonstrate a clear understanding of radiology protocols and a team effort with all other Radiology staff, including doctors, nurses, clerical, and support staff.

Additionally, they must demonstrate complete independent competency in General Radiology, be able to instruct students in routine general x-ray exams, and apply all standards set by the Department of Radiology, Federal, and State Radiation Protection Agencies.

Maintaining room inventory and equipment checklists is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Valid licensure and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) are required.
