Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Position patients and equipment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast.
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update patients' records.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Samba Care offers a competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
