Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the daily execution of logistics operations, ensuring operational metrics are met. This includes administrative tasks within the logistics team.

Warehouse Operations

  • Monitor and reconcile warehouse EDI transactions
  • Handle logistics deductions and process blocked invoices
  • Administer relabel/repack projects and ensure warehouse vendor compliance billing
  • Resolve over, short, and damage dispositions

Replenishment

  • Write weekly dairy replenishment orders under the supervision of a manager

Administrative

  • Document processes and ensure current documentation is in place for all tactical tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education:

  • Preferred four-year degree in Business/Operations or Supply Chain Management

Technical Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • SAP ERP and Salesforce experience preferred
  • Warehouse/logistics operations experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research and simple analysis of basic transactional data

Other Qualifications:

  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Results-oriented individual with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and drive attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a changing and sometimes conflicting priorities environment
  • Travel: minimum to no travel expected

Previous Experience:

  • 1-3 years logistics and/or customer service experience preferred
