Cashier/Stadium Stand Attendant Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to work at special events as Cashiers/Concession Stand Attendants and Cashiers. As a Cashier/Stadium Attendant, you play an important role in the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests, communicate stand offerings, and answer any guest questions in a friendly manner.
  • Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
  • Record all inventory and waste.
  • Participate in set-up of stand, arrange inventory, notify Stand Lead of any inventory deficiency or shortages.
  • Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
  • Properly record all transactions via the point-of-sale system and inform guests of the amounts owed.
  • Collect the proper money for food and beverage items; process credit card or determine correct change for guests.
  • Account for all transactions; maintain accurate cash count and balance banks at end of shift.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Food service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service.
  • Retail experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of clients in a loud, high-volume setting.
  • Track record of handling cash responsibly.
  • Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop and engage in physical activity for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work with rotating inventory and a variety of food items.
  • Knowledge of responsible service guidelines for alcohol.
Pay Rate:

$15.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE
