Role Responsibilities

This role is pivotal in overseeing all stewarding operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including the dish room and chemical storage.
  • Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, sanitation products, and dishwashing equipment.
  • Organizing and maintaining all china, glassware, and silverware.
  • Leading temporary dishwashing staff in the dish room.
  • Operating and maintaining the primary dishwashing machine.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

+ A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage setting is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

+ This position is highly hands-on and requires strong collaboration with kitchen and banquet personnel, as well as other facility staff.

+ A results-driven individual capable of meeting deadlines effectively.

+ Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Must comply with local Food Safety Regulations.

Physical Requirements

+ The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

+ This position necessitates frequent stooping, lifting, and substantial standing, walking, and maneuvering of equipment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 25 lbs to waist height.

+ Ability to work in environments that may be hot, humid, and damp.
