Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team at Verbal Behavior Associates. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children with special needs in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support the development of communication, self-help, social, and play skills in children with special needs.
  • Work one-on-one with children to tailor techniques and strategies to meet their individual needs and ensure skill acquisition.
  • Track and share client progress by collecting behavior data and recording clinical notes.
  • Attend ongoing development and training designed to strengthen both our team and the ABA services we provide.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with maladaptive behaviors in children and/or adults.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Open to working at least 3 days a week, weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Proof of COVID-19, MMR, and TDap vaccination.
  • TB Test and Live Scan background check.
  • ABA experience highly preferred.
