Job Overview

Verbal Behavior Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to join our team. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will work one-on-one with children with special needs to support the development of their communication, self-help, social, and play skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs, including tailoring techniques and strategies to meet individual client needs and ensure skill acquisition
  • Track and share client progress by collecting behavior data and recording clinical notes
  • Attend ongoing development and training designed to strengthen both our team and the ABA services we provide

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, with flexible scheduling options available

  • Competitive hourly rates: $20.00 - $24.00/hour, with paid drive time and mileage between client sessions
  • Paid training and shadowing: Direct support from BCBAs as you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
