Job Overview

At ARCXIS, we are seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys in diverse environments within the DFW Metroplex and occasionally in Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct land surveys in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and legal regulations.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including robotic surveying equipment, to accurately measure and record property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant data.
  • Operate your own vehicle to travel to various survey sites within the DFW Metroplex and occasionally to locations in Oklahoma.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment to uphold accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate completion of surveying tasks.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements
  • High school graduate/GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in operating robotic surveying equipment and GPS technology preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret surveying data accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Residential construction experience is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to project sites in Oklahoma.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and legal regulations governing land surveying practices.
