About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at MWResource, Inc. as a key member of our project management team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electric utility project management, with a focus on transmission and substation builds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage project proposals and estimates, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Perform issue and risk management activities to ensure project delivery and budget are met.
  • Use project management tools to track project delivery and budget, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to technical leadership on project performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Lead project teams to deliver agreed-upon solution deliverables within specified timeframes.
  • Execute a wide range of process activities, from requirements definition to final delivery.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation to communicate project processes, problems, and action plans.
  • Facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  • Manage relationships between customers, other customer IT environment providers, and service provider personnel.
  • Coordinate and provide timely status reporting on program-oriented work efforts and compliance with customer technical standards and PMO aligned processes and methodologies.
  • Direct and monitor work efforts, ensuring team assignments and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Provide status reports to leadership teams on potential impacts to scope, budget, risk, and resources.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in electric utility project management, with a focus on transmission and substation builds.
  • PMP or similar certification.
  • Substation and/or transmission power line build experience.
