Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our Refugee Assistance & Immigration Services team at Catholic Social Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management services to individuals and families, ensuring they receive the support and resources needed to achieve self-sufficiency and stability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intakes and complete needs assessments to identify client goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to achieve employment and self-sufficiency, including budgeting and quality of life assessments
  • Administer Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Supportive Services (RSS) grants, determining client eligibility and making monthly payments
  • Provide supportive services, including crisis intervention, interpreter and translation services, and liaison with community resources
  • Document all client interactions and services provided, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to program policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant combination of education and experience may be considered
  • One year of experience working with refugees in a case management or similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work with diverse populations
  • Knowledge of community resources and ability to navigate systems to access services
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a standard indoor office environment, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Frequent travel within Wasilla is required, with rare travel to the Anchorage office.
