- Environmental Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including managing household tasks and ensuring accessibility.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Documentation: Accurately document all services provided, including care plans, progress notes, and any concerns or issues.
- Experience: Previous experience caring for individuals with ALS is mandatory.
- Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid certification is also required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
