Hyatt Place Mt Pleasant is seeking a skilled Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service to our guests. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing and setting up breakfast, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

* Greet guests and provide clear information about breakfast options
* Listen to and respond to guest needs and requests
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, storage, and front-of-house areas
* Prepare breakfast items using standard recipes and equipment
* Inventory breakfast items and provide order requirements to the manager
* Receive deliveries and verify accuracy, reporting any discrepancies to the driver and manager
* Maintain and prepare food items in accordance with local health department standards
* Engage with guests in a friendly and caring manner
* Assist guests with requests as needed
* Comply with all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

* Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants, or related fields in customer service
* Experience as a server, busser, runner, host/hostess, or breakfast attendant preferred
* Certifications such as ServSafe or TIPS Certification preferred
* Fluency in English
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Basic math concepts, percentages, and variances
* Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and organizational abilities
* Ability to effectively multi-task
