Senior Compounder – Full Time Position

Overview

We are in search of a meticulous and passionate individual to fill the role of Senior Compounder. This position is essential for ensuring that our customers receive top-notch products, and it requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Compounder, you will play a vital role in the formulation and mixing of a diverse range of products, from personal care items to household goods. Your primary duties will include:

  • Compounding: Precisely measure and blend raw ingredients to create batches of products in accordance with established formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Documentation: Keep thorough records of all compounding processes, including batch numbers, temperatures, and any variations from the standard procedures. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and submitted promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee that all products meet our high-quality standards. Monitor production to identify and resolve any potential quality issues.
  • Safety Practices: Follow all safety regulations and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling materials.
  • Equipment Management: Operate and maintain compounding machinery, ensuring all equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly. Report any issues to the maintenance team without delay.
  • Physical Demands: Be prepared to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside team members to meet production goals, maintaining effective communication with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of production schedules.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a compounding or mixing position within the personal care, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing sectors.

Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Proactive problem-solving skills

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial manufacturing processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
