Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Community Renewal Team (CRT). As a key member of our ECE department, you will play a vital role in providing developmentally appropriate care and education for children in accordance with established principles of early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and daily plan, aligning with CRT's policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Leader to understand individual children's needs and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with families and children, using positive guidance techniques and recognizing cultural diversity.
  • Ensure compliance with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in any field and 12 Early Childhood Education Credits.
  • Two-four years of classroom experience working with children in a state-licensed program.
  • Ability to work on a team, share ideas, and possess good oral and written skills.
  • First Aid for Children, CPR Certification, and Administration of Medication preferred.
