Position Overview

This role is essential for overseeing various Lighting projects from the moment an order is placed until it is shipped. The position requires collaboration with the Business Development Team, Customer Service, Engineering, Scheduling, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing to establish and manage project timelines. Effective communication with clients, contractors, and end users regarding project updates is crucial. Building strong relationships is a key aspect of this role, necessitating frequent interaction with both internal teams and diverse customer groups. The ideal candidate should demonstrate creativity, whether independently or as part of a team, to address design criteria, project challenges, timelines, and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

To excel in this position, the individual must successfully fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Landscape Forms' business strategies and operational processes.
  • Exemplify our core principles consistently.
  • Engage with the sales team early in the project lifecycle, starting from the receipt of purchase orders.
  • Input orders into the system accurately.
  • Ensure that submittal drawings are precise and delivered on time.
  • Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to set project schedules and adhere to established milestones.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to discuss project progress with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide updates to the sales team and clients regarding project status.
  • Assist in preparing change proposals for project submissions.
  • Coordinate with RSR and BDR teams for post-bid follow-ups with electrical channel bidders.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various timelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to Lighting clients, ensuring proactive engagement.
  • Develop and uphold standard practices for project management processes.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at improving Lighting processes.
  • Collaborate with BDR/RSR/Agency teams to ensure accurate commissions, rebates, and splits.

Qualifications for Success

The following qualifications are essential for success in this role:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related technical field, along with 3-5 years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other relevant software applications is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of initiative and self-direction.
  • A commitment to continuous learning in a competitive sales environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect and interpret data, solve complex problems, and apply sound judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work Environment

This position primarily involves office work, but may occasionally require working in environments with noise or heat, and around moving machinery. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Some travel and evening meetings may be necessary.
