Job Title: Senior Oracle APEX and SharePoint Developer

Job Summary:

The Senior Oracle APEX and SharePoint Developer will play a critical role in the organization's IT Data and Analytics team. This position focuses on the design, development, and support of custom applications, dashboards, and collaborative tools on the Oracle APEX and SharePoint platforms. The developer will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to build solutions that improve data accessibility, integration, and insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oracle APEX Development:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of data-driven applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Optimize and manage Oracle databases, with a focus on data integration, cleansing, and storage.
  • Build dynamic data visualizations and interfaces that empower end-users to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure high performance and scalability of applications for real-time data analytics.
  • SharePoint Development and Administration:
  • Design and administer SharePoint solutions to foster collaboration and data sharing within the IT Data and Analytics team and across the organization.
  • Develop workflows for data approval processes, automate document management, and ensure data governance compliance.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of SharePoint with Oracle APEX for centralized data access.
  • Data and Analytics Integration:
  • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate backend databases (Oracle, SQL Server) into front-end applications.
  • Develop solutions that provide real-time data feeds and analytics to various departments using APEX and Power BI.
  • Ensure all systems adhere to the organization's data governance and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Expertise with Oracle APEX development, particularly in data-centric environments.
  • Strong expertise in SharePoint development and administration, with a focus on data management, workflows, and integration.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle, SQL Server, and data integration tools.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools like Power BI or Oracle BI.
  • Understanding of data governance, data security, and privacy standards in enterprise environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the transportation industry or working with transportation data.
  • Certifications in Oracle APEX or SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience developing solutions for predictive analytics and real-time data insights.
