We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Technician to join our Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at UNC Health Care. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing staff in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist professional caregivers in delivering patient care, including transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and performing clerical tasks.
  • Support physicians and other healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procurement of equipment and supplies.
  • Critically review patient care documentation, noting significant changes in patient condition and reporting to registered nurses or physicians.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support, including organizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, researching information, and maintaining medical records.
  • Perform routine quality assurance audits, safety checks, and inventory of supplies.
Requirements:
  • One year of clerical or customer service experience and six months of related nursing assistant experience.
  • Must be fluent in verbal and written English language.
  • Capability to develop computer skills if not competent.
