About the Role:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all procurement processes in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with established systems and policies to maintain a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies in local procurement processes to streamline operations and minimize risks.
  • Monitor the electronic transmission of purchase orders to confirm receipt from suppliers.
  • Verify that purchase requisitions are properly approved according to MDA guidelines and that the information is sufficient for proper execution.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery dates, quantities, prices, and characteristics of the goods or services in the purchase order according to the agreed-upon terms and conditions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Perform maintenance on purchase orders and follow up on invoice presentation by suppliers to complete the procurement cycle and ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Manage advances, urgent payments, and invoice blocking for suppliers as necessary to maintain proper control over supplier payments.
  • Adhere to local service level agreements to expedite all events or requirements within your scope.
  • Manage supplier modifications to keep master data updated.
  • Generate follow-up reports and status updates on purchase orders to keep clients informed about the procurement cycle.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Knowledge of procurement, client negotiations, and inventory monitoring.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with procurement technologies and management tools.

Compensation:

USD $65,000.00 - USD $68,000.00 per year.
