Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator Medical Office Specialist is a critical role that supports the front office operations of our healthcare facility. As an Associate Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and manage wait times in accordance with standard procedures.
  • Complete check-in and check-out tasks, including patient demographic verification, insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and document copying.
  • Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles while issuing receipts.
  • Manage cashier boxes and daily deposits according to company policies.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist callers with questions or concerns.
  • Maintain medical records, scan documents, and prepare files for scheduling.
  • Ensure all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, process medical record release requests, and maintain logs.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or medical office processes preferred.
