Job Title: Clinical Data Analyst

At SERV Behavioral Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Data Analyst to join our team. As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing clinical data to support our organization's decision-making processes, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, clean, and analyze clinical data from various sources, including Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other business intelligence platforms.
  • Develop and maintain databases and data collection systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Design and implement EHR templates to capture relevant clinical data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure templates meet clinical and operational needs.
  • Optimize existing templates based on feedback and evolving requirements.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support clinical and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain performance measurement tools and systems.
  • Work with E.H.R. stakeholders, IT, and clinical staff to troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions.
  • Train and support healthcare providers in the use of EHR templates and data reporting tools.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to support data-driven initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, including HIPAA.
  • Implement and adhere to data security protocols to protect sensitive patient information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical data analysis, preferably in a healthcare setting, including application of statistical methods to analyze clinical data.
  • Experience with data analysis software such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience in designing and implementing EHR templates to capture relevant clinical data.
