Job Title: Component Engineer 4

Overview:

Tekwissen Group is a leading workforce management provider with a global presence. We are partnering with a renowned medical technology company to deliver innovative solutions for diagnostic imaging and laboratory diagnostics. As a Component Engineer 4, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge electromechanical systems for our next-generation robotic platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex electromechanical systems, applying advanced analytical methodologies and mathematical modeling.
  • Utilize mechanical engineering design principles to create state-of-the-art mechanical systems, including static, dynamic, and kinematic analyses.
  • Develop mechanical sub-systems, from concept generation to CAD design, analysis, documentation, verification, and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly.
  • Perform forward and inverse kinematics, finite element analysis, 3D tolerance analysis, and modeling using Simulink, Simscape, or MATLAB programming.
  • Participate in hands-on activities, including engineering tests and characterizations, and post-process test results using mechanical engineering principles and statistical theories.
  • Implement best practices in design methodologies, development processes, and tools, and scout new tools and techniques to enhance our capabilities.
Requirements:
  • PhD in mechanical engineering or mechatronics, with a research background in medical device development.
  • Outstanding academic background and a demonstrated record of high-impact research.
  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on product development experience in mechanical-machine design, with experience in medical robotics highly desired.
  • Programming skills and experience using analytical and simulation tools, including MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, SolidWorks CAD modeling, and FEA analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to learn new tools and techniques and train others.
