Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working in a mixed role surrounding Team Management and Team Mentoring, Technical Leadership and Product build+design Strategy
  • Experience running an expanding software engineering department: Budgeting, metrics reporting, presentations/communication with senior management, etc.
  • Experience working in a highly visible and communicative role with ongoing internal and external clients for the creation and design of custom robotic software applications.
  • Experience working in a similar role for a growing company in well-funded startup type environment is preferred.
  • Recent/Current Experience writing or reviewing Code; should have experience with most of the following: PLC, MatLab/LabView, Python, C/C++, Real Time Operating Systems and Embedded coding, Cloud/IoT and/or Data Acquisition applications, JavaScript (front end UI Side of applications), Code surrounding Network and/or Device Connectivity.
  • Experience desgning, managing or writing code that acquires, stores, uses and accesses data from Hardware (data from hardware sensors used in robotic applications)
  • Experience with Software involving a mixture of servo motors and multi-axis motion control ​​​​​​and Error-handling/Error Recover and Acceleration, Deceleration, pulsing, frequency, speed, positioning-movement,
  • Experience with Robotic or similar Artificial Vision Systems.
  • Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
  • Design-Build Engineering: Experience taking engineering designs through all phases ‘On-Paper Idea though Reality’
  • A College Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.


Pluses:

  • Experience designing-creating-coding IoT and/or Cloud and/or Smart-Device Applications including communication with other Smart Devices and/or applications with heavy data sharing.
  • PLC Programming experience.
  • Experience with Embedded coding and/or Web Based Applications and/or UI Development and/or Data reporting from data coming off of IoT/Smart Devices.
