Job Description

Samsung SDS America is seeking a skilled Logistics Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our freight forwarding services to clients and building strong relationships with them.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the domestic and international transportation industry, as well as experience in sales and prospecting. They will be able to analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for business expansion.

The Logistics Sales Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining customer relationships and providing excellent customer support
  • Understanding customer needs and collaborating with internal teams to ensure that products or services align with client requirements
  • Identifying business opportunities and promoting all company products and services for imports and exports
  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to maximize customer retention and growth
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher in a business-related field, as well as 2+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and/or logistics sales. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
