Production Manager

Desi Fresh Foods is a leading dairy manufacturer with over two decades of experience in producing high-quality products. Our portfolio includes yogurt, smoothies, sour cream, and dips, catering to both single-serve and food service markets.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our yogurt processing facility in Frederick County, Virginia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring efficient processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise production teams, lead, mentor, and manage staff to ensure effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor production processes, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing any deviations or defects promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety training and audits.
- Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies, to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and prevent production delays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production experience and 3 years of supervision experience.
- Experience within dairy manufacturing preferred.
