Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick County, Virginia.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise production staff and ensure efficient and effective production processes.
- Meet production targets and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor production activities, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations or defects promptly.
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies.
- Prepare and analyze production reports, track key performance indicators, and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production experience and 3 years of supervision experience.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, including production management software and standard office applications.
